I like Megs Natural Shine. Nice gloss, but not crazy. UV protection and can bought about anywhere at a good price.

Griot's Customer Service is 1st Class all the way!!!!

I had this broken GG 3" polisher given to me. I have and use the 6" currently with zero issues. So I took the 3" apart to see what the issue was. The plastic arbor drive gear was stripped from the metal motor pinion gear. I call GG to see about purchasing a replacement part. They told me...

GG compared to Meguire's. Also PCxp.

Thought I would jump in and give a little clarfication on UL, CE, ect. 1st off let me get this out: These logos do not have anything to do with quality. These are safety logos. As someone has mentioned before they are tested by a 3rd party laboratory. In order to get the UL mark the lab...

    New house - Hard water

Something to keep in mind..soft water is bad for plants/grass/ect. If you plan on watering your yard, or plants around the house soft water will eventually kill them due to the salt in the water. BUT..it's great for washing cars!

My solution to $150 foam guns...

Sorry to derail this topic a little bit, but a quick explanation and it'll all be over. lol I guess I'm now confused on the purpose of this. I thought it would go like this: 1. pressure wash off the large loose stuff. 2. Foam the car 3. wash the car with preferred mit and rinse bucket 4...

Meg's MF Finishing pad and was leaving swirls

Exactly my confusion as well! But, I kid you not it happened 3 different times on my truck, egen using 205. It must be the finishing pad. Odd as well I never considered my trucks paint soft...i dunno. It is impressive how the compound pad and polush finish out. Damn near LSP ready. Ok...

Meg's MF Finishing pad and was leaving swirls

Thanks, Rasky. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I thought I was just doing something wrong. I will say, though, I love the cutting pad and polish. I guess I'll just go back to foam and 205, or similar, for finishing. I use LC flat white with 205 and always seem to get good results. Anything...

Meg's MF Finishing pad and was leaving swirls

Ok, I'm pretty much a noob at this. I just do it as a hobbyist. I've been doing it for a couple of years, though, just not that often. I'm always learning something new. Anyway...I picked up the new Meg's MF system to use with my 6" GG. Anxious to try it out on my 2005 Dodge Ram quad cab...

    First time detailing white vehicle

Meguiars Gold Class and NXT 2.0 both work very good on my white 2005 Dodge Ram. Very glossy and wet looking. I tried Liquid Souvran on it as well. Personally, I couldn't tell a different between it and the Meg's products. At least not on my white Ram.

    LC Pad Question =(

That's happened to me a few times with yellow, orange and white LC flat pads. AG has always sent a replacement, but dang.
