    Serious Water Spots

Took about 3+ hours but my Black Optima is back to looking ultimate. I did notice there are still a few faded water spots on the glass which I will address tomorrow but otherwise CarPro Spotless and about 15 micro fiber towels did the trick. All because of you guys. :dblthumb2::dblthumb2...

    Serious Water Spots

Thanks Allen! Yup my towel is probably not the best quality so going to see if I can find one at a local supplier. My technique needs to be revisited as well. Performing in the garage with excellent light so the sun is not a factor. Thanks again Steve

    Serious Water Spots

Yup, I cannot tell a lie. I was washing in direct straight sunlight. I had my wife literally spraying car off continuously as I washed it but that obviously just didn't work. I have actually sent a sample of my water to a place to analyze for free my water condition. Now the good news...

    Serious Water Spots

I just washed my black Optima and even before I could dry it, water spots were scattered all over the car. I had a slight issue with this before but never like this now. I have looked thru the posts but could not find a few answers to my questions. Please someone help!!! I washed...

    Microfiber

Being new I am researching like a big dog! :) I have watched most of the How To information (thanks Autogeek!). I am still a little concerned on a few things. I was looking at bulk purchase of Microfiber towels on Amazon for use on the car exclusively. The price looks great and some Amazon...

    Hex Logic Pads

Again being new (and I have watch a ton of videos so far), is Hex Logic the way to go for 5.5" DA pads. Honestly I am looking for pads to just touch up a few swirls and one light scratch and a super finishing buff. I don't want to necessarily purchase a pad kit if it is not needed. Also I...

    What should I expect?

I probably didn't word this correctly. My apologies. I am asking if when one performs a good polish-wax task, will the car be better looking than when a car that first comes from the dealership that has been buffed. Thanks Stevelsd

    CQuartz and other comparable products

As I have stated in a previous post, I am new to the detailing arena. I did post a question regarding Pittman's Vapor Wax but no one commented. Feed back please Regarding CQuartz and other comparable competitive products, does this product replace the ritual polishing and waxing? Do...

    What should I expect?

I am new to the detailing arena. As I purchase a few necessary startup products I am wondering what should I expect. I have a new black KIA Optima. It is buffed out and shines like a nice new car. With the new wash\clay\polish\wax products, should I expect to just retain the factory sparkle...

    Vapor Wax

I know this might be a subject not wanting to hear about from what I have seen on other sites but I would sure like an objective answer on this product. Is this new product APC Vapor Wax from Mr Pittman worth the dollars spent and has anyone really tried this? Feed back please Thank you Stevelsd
