    (Home) Water Heater Question

First off...it is or should be highly recommended that you drain you heater once a year to flush that sediment. secondly, in your case ( i am from Missouri with basements) being near the drain i would not worry about damage from water unless your basement is finished, even then the drain should...

    Those who experience snow.

for the ease of use, POWER WASH to clean, allow to dry and hammer it with FLUID FILM or the like. then when weather allows, a good hot wash cleans it right off

Review: Mothers Clay Kit - Red 2015 Z28 Camaro

Funny to see this car, i recently did a red 2017 ZL1 camaro with 4k miles on it, owner thought it paint was perfect also...it was not and he quickly saw the difference. i tried to pics, but i am guessing that running through a VPN doesnt work well with Autogeek ???

    Sanding, polishing headlights...

are you using a DA sander to perform this ??? sounds like it is done by hand. possibly the use of DA will help with straight line defects, as well as using it to polish it out. what are you protecting them with after ? i dont see the use of a coating or even reapplying a clear coat...both of...

i coated mine with black label diamond surface coating, roughly 6 months and still going strong. even with the wife using a bleach cleaner in the shower, just mentioned trying to not spray the glass

Cleaning headlights that don’t need repair

in most cases, a simple cleaner wax does wonders...by that i do mean a slight abrasive wax ( MEQUIARS CLEANER WAX ).

less gloss on more durable products?

i will add this, when doing a customer car and being asked about ceramic coatings...i always steer away from ceramic on show cars and bikes...typically the owner gets some enjoyment out of the SHINY appearance of a good fresh wax. not that a coating couldnt be topped with wax, most expect that...

What are those speckles/pinholes on my paint surface

most likely a solvent pop from the factory coatings curing. Polish as normal, and quit micro inspecting (not trying to be rude, but it isnt worth chasing...you will do more harm than good)

    New Electra Glide need advise

i can concur with the black...i did chrome lower legs, inner & outer primary and all controls and apes. i can almost guaranty that had i still had that bike...every part on it would be coated with Pinnacle diamond shine coating.

What key features would you like to see in a new tire dressing?

i think it would take 2 products to achieve... one that shines and sparkles, the other that has a clean more matte finish obviously, no sling, water based and long lasting i prefer a clean, matte finish...just a clean appearance

Do you coat (or dress) both sides of your tires?

^^^^ this right here, i once had a 78 bronco on 40" tires, mainly a nice day cruiser and show and shine attendant...it used to regularly get a quick dose of no touch tire shine, with a removal of the excess ( even on the exposed treads)...other than that, i hit the insides with a good degreaser...

Review: Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish - Exhaust Tip Polishing - RUPES Nano

amazingly easy product to use...i personally have been using it since roughly 1992, when i started driving this was the go to product for dolling up my exhaust pipes...(several 5.0 mustangs and anything with aluminized pipes that were exposed)...we used to do a quick 600+ grit wet sand and...

    ceramic on glass and chrome

you could try a cleaner wax, something with a very light abrasive. not as harsh as a polish or compound if you are worried... personaly i like keep a bottle of mequiars ultimate polish around just for these reasons...it is a very simple on/off process with no damage to any surface i have used...
