I have a new project that I am sponsoring. its an 05 maxima. At one time the care was really nice, but a few years of neglect and abuse, has it looking really bad . I hadn't started working on it yet, so I only have some before photos. We begin water sanding & buffing this evening. Ill keep yall...

I know this is an old post but I am having the same problem, where the glass comes out looking worst than it did before I even touched the car.I came to a conclusion that my washer machine isn't cleaning my towels good enough. when I use a brand new one.... no problems. I guess the wax spreads...

yeah it definitely looks like someone put clear over the decal. That's why I strongly disagree with putting decals on paint. I would sand it the compound it. if that doesn't work you will need another clear coat at the least.

used the D/A to cut down on time. I water sanded after primering

deep pits in the paint ?

notice I use a sponge to keep my surface wet.and just give it a lil squeeze when i need
