I was using the smaller tool compared to the tool you have on yours (crevice tool) Good thinking on the dirt but I was planning to get another hose for blowing only and then rubber coat an attachment or get an aftermarket attachment. I was using a combo of the blow and a drying towel I bought at...
yes I use my shop vac to blow off after washing. It works great. Probably takes longer than a compressor but for my current situation it fits and works great.
Anyone have a suggestion for a vacuum attachment for drying off car. I am using the stock one but I wouldn't mind getting something that will be safer in the event
I got to close to the paint. I was thinking about rubber coating one but wasn't sure if others had another option. My vac uses 1-7/8...
they are not gloss like the black ones for sure but I'm not 100 percent sure. Maybe that is why they seem different. The finish is unlike any rim I have had in the past. These were coated two times. Once in 2015 and once last year. The other three rims they got out the brownish color but one...
Here they are, hopefully they are good enough. Reminds me of cloudiness on the body of the car. Maybe bad detailing when the car was returned for end of lease? They did a horrible job for sure. I find all kinds of leftover stuff from them cleaning the SUV probably too fast. Now it is my turn to...
I hate to start another thread but can you advise me on painted rims? I have a cx30 and it has black painted rims and those are cloudy. Do I try the same solution or are painted ones different? thanks
thanks guys I will try the CarPro first and hope that it is a fix. If not I can try the nuclear option. I've been doing this Chemical Guys WAC21116 Synthetic Quick Detailer on the rims after on both of my cars. Is that an okay option to protect them or is there a better solution like maybe...
in the winter not as much as I'd like to buy I do try to spray a cleaner on the before the car wash. In spring, summer and fall I clean them with a rim cleaner (griots all wheel cleaner, Chemical guys the orange sticky one) I ran out of both so I need a new option next wash. I have a soft brush...
I have BBS rims on my 2015 Lancer Evo. In spots on the curves of the rims is what looks like rust or baked on brake dust. Is there a way to clean this? It is mostly on one rim but if there is a solution I wouldn't mind doing it on all these corners. I could upload pictures if needed.
thanks
thanks, that is what I am afraid of LOL I am already hooked from my last car but with this new car I want to do it right. Plus having leather now it is completely different.
I looked at all the threads and I didn't see what like this. I could also be in the wrong section and sorry if I am. I just bought a new car and it is my first leather interior. Does anyone recommend something that preserves my interior . I'd like to keep it that new looking and protect it but...
