Just my 2 cents. Find the cheapest all metal type polish, a Harbor Freight rotary and plenty of wool pads and have at it.

I got good results when I switched from a foam pad to a wool pad. The difference is substantial especially if the gel coat has wear and tear on it. Good Luck
