Why do people say the MF pads finish up worse than the foam when the description in the store says they finish up better?

Would you recommend a black pad with 205

I'm going to be using Lake Country new Microfiber pads. They is just one pad for both compounding and polishing. I saw them advertised on this site and have been reading up on them a little. They are supposed to be better than the MF pads that are supplied in the Megs MF kit

Will 501 correct defects....is it a polish? Sorry never heard of these before.

I have some Ultimate Compound which I have tried on some spots and its worked well, and I know this is a lesser cut than 105. When I get the 205 I will see if that alone will correct my defects. And I will be trying it with the MF pads which I have not used yet and hear they have more cut than...

I have never heard of these products. When mixing how much should I come up with as a total. Would it be in ounces?
