don't get me wrong, you probably corrected a good amount. I know it's hard work so good job. I'm just trying to help you out a little more. Next time, try it on number 6 and go slow. I tried 5 but on black, you have to try and get out as much imperfections as you can. #6 and an orange pad will...
There is still a lot of swirls, hazing, and micromarring that i can see from the pics even in night pictures. So that would look even worse in the sun. I don't think you broke it down long enough. Did you use the PC on #6 and go very very slow?
XMT 3 can do a good amount of correcting if you...
seems you didn't do it well. There is still a lot of correcting to do. Also, the lighting helps hide most of it in the last pics. I found that the xmt #3 did a good amount of micromarring no matter how long you worked it. It needed the Xmt #1 for a better look.
Yeah, i switched out my the headlights and led tails on mine. It's a huge difference with the HIDS. It's much brighter than the 03-05 hids. Plus it's Bi-xenon so there are hids in the brights as well. You can get them at a good price at the dealer. It's 1250 for both headlights with all hid...
Good job. I'm actually doing my black 350z right now. Should be done by tomorrow. I'm using xmt #3 with orange then #1 with a white pad. I will post pics as well. Good job. I love the new HR motors on those z's.
Thanks.
yeah, the stuff is great. Everyone was telling me not to get it since it was a bit pricey and i can get better stuff mix matching. I just wanted something to start out with plus it has online guides. can't beat that. Also the bottle has my car on the cover..lol.
thanks for the response. I will try to get pics. The intermediate #3 took out my major swirls and scratches with two passes with the orange LC pad. No hazing and low dusting. I'm very happy with it so far.
I'm a newb and everything is going great so far. I just finished using the #3 swirl remover. After i do the #1 ultra fine swirl removier, does the finishing glaze wiht the carnauba wax suppose to be the wax? Or do i top this with a real carnauba? Can i use my natty's blue right after the glaze...
