    Curb rash...

I just went out and double checked. Definitely chrome. You can see aluminum (or alloy?)underneath the chrome plating and there's no seams anywhere

    Curb rash...

Kirk I appreciate the link. Problem is my rims are chrome not polished. I'm not sure I can do this at home and make it an invisible repair.:dunno:

That doesn't seem too bad. I found a new one for about $350

    Curb rash...

So I just effed up my previously perfect rim on my Silverado. To what extent can this be repaired? Any idea what a pro would charge? Shared album - Supergus1 - Google Photos

    Strange film on windshield

I was hoping to start with something less aggressive but is there a glass polish that's a relatively fine compound?

    Strange film on windshield

I recently bought a low mileage 2018 Silverado truck from a dealership, and a couple of weeks later I had a detailing shop coat the paint with Optimum Paint Guard, which came out great. When I picked the truck up I noticed some kind of coating on the windshield. It looks like an oily film; I...

My truck is coated with Optimum Paint Guard and I use either Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax, Optimum Car Wash, or Optimum Instant Detailer. What MF towels would be my best choice?

    Meg's Hyper Dressing

I've been using HD (pre diluted )for a little while now. I use it on the wheel wells of my truck by spraying on a mf towel and wiping on. The issue is that there are so many crevices in the wheel wells that its hard to get complete coverage. I tried spraying directly on to the surface but...

Product Suggestions to Avoid Water Spots

+1 I finally got on the rinseless train and I'll never go back to a traditional wash/dry process. I had my paint coated with Opti Seal and I just use Optimum No Rinse Wash&Wax. Everytime I use ONRWW it adds a layer of Carnuba Wax.

Meguiar’s Wheel Brightener Consumer Equivalent for paint spot removal

I'm no pro detailer but I've had great luck with Meg's Water Spot Remover (A3714) without having to polish after.
