    Returning Customers

Cities have neighborhood groups with list servs to update the neighbors with news, crime, events, etc. I found one extremely wealthy listserv, posted a small ad, it led to a couple jobs. I am very particular and I did a good job, conducted myself like a professional, was objective and honest...

What did i do!!!?? sanding accident

The clear coat was worn in spots I taped off with an orange PC pad. I detailed dozens of cars and never had that happen. The mobile body man quoted 250-350 for the entire door panel. It's the guy with the easel from the photo. If I can cover this up with moldings would this be preferable to a...

    Returning Customers

I put out one advertisement one time on a list serve. That was it. Call backs are unsolicited. The work was good enough to have them want me back. I had to turn people away.

    Question from a new guy

I can polish and clean cars, but if I could repair windshields and do body work, I wouldn't have to pay others to do it. The point I'm trying to make is offer as many products as you can. The more skills you possess the more valuable you are, as long as quality is high.

What did i do!!!?? sanding accident

Thanks it was transferred with a unfixed scratch but I'm who did this. They have a molding to cover this section which is my saving grace. Should I get the aerosol clear in matte or gloss? Is it even worth it or will it look ridiculous?

What did i do!!!?? sanding accident

I sanded with 2000 and went over with the orange pad. The orange pad did the damage. Can the lighter colored areas be sprayed with aerosol clear from the car parts store?

What did i do!!!?? sanding accident

Brand new car with a scratch. While buffing with flex 3401 and a lake country orange pad I created this monster mistake. It's on a lower area of the door on a Prius. It's going to be covered up by molding but can I do anything to fix this? Please could anyone explain why the color is changing...

Can anyone identify this brown spot on paint?

Thanks for the responses. It's a customers car and it's kept in his attached garage. This blob is brown and I think that cigarette tar idea is interesting. The weird thing is there are smaller brown spots in the area besides this one. It had two coats of klasse sg when it got this stain so could...

Can anyone identify this brown spot on paint?

This brown spot is one of a few on a blue Audi. It looks is as if it is under the clear coat, but when I detailed the car a few months ago, it wasn't there. If you touch it it is no different than the rest of the paint, perfectly smooth. I can't scrape it with a fingernail or anything. I tried...

Optimum hyper compound/polish versus compound/polish ii

I just purchased the optimum polish ii and compound ii, but see the hyper polish is available. What is the difference besides the hyper are sprays, does either work better?

Optimum Compounds & Polishes vs Meguiars & Menzerna

Great review, just what I was looking for tonight. I'm going to try a bottle of OPT Polish II. I've read people are not noticing a difference between OPT compound ii and polish ii. I'm interested if I could go ahead with a LSP after using OPT polish II or even compound. You mentioned that even...
