i picked up some 2000 grit wet 3m paper. I've been doing some paint correcting. Hitting the deeper scratches. Is this too coarse? They (carquest) didn't have many if any options finer than 2000.

So i'm going through a paint correction. But it looks great but man my paint scratches so easy. Is my clear made of butter....lol got me thinking about just doing touch less wash from here on out to prevent scratches. What do you think?

400 when you say passes, does that mean repeating the same area? So like 4-6 passes, then step down a few inches, 4-6 then step down. then go up and down 4-6, step over a few, repeat? do that pattern once, wipe and inspect. Actual buffing time 2-3 min??? for first step. 3500 I suspect the...

so there's basically 2 sides with different thicknesses. Should i be using a certain side for specific tasks? oh yeah and why do they feel like sand paper on my hands(mf towels in general) i realize i need to wash them
