I am using Meguiars Gold Class to wash the car. Also, I have tried using Griots spray wax as a drying aid, but it almost seemed to make the problem worse. I have been using a little bit of white distilled vinegar in the rinse cycle too.

I bought 3 Cobra Guzzler HD drying towels a few weeks ago. I have used them a handful of times and no matter what I do...they streak terrible. I searched around and found a few people saying to wash them first...No luck. I washed them with ALL Free and Clear detergent and hung them in the spare...

It's about an hour and a half from me, but hopefully it will be worth the trip.

When I first checked the car out it was dusty and wet from the rain. When that area is wet...it looks completely fine. Here is a pic farther back.

Thats what the body shop owner said too after I told him it had a clean Carfax. He said it was more than likely done at the dealership. It only has 30,000 miles on it. One owner. Certified Pre Owned. The rest of the body is in pretty damn good shape for being a used black car and the interior...

I took it to my dads buddy who owns a local body shop and he also said it was definitely repainted for some reason. He said he is going to try and wet sand the area.

Thats very true. I might try to clay it and see what happens. Unless your bending down 2 ft. from it....its really not that noticeable, but I know its there.

Hey everyone....I just bought this car a few days ago and it was a little dirty and raining when I picked it up from the dealership. I didn't notice this area on the back bumper. I'd appreciate any ideas on how to fix it without having to get it repainted. Thanks!
