I have a '10 MDX and had the same issue. I took a MF and a dab of XMT360 and just did a real light rub on the shield with the MF. I am talking just a little more pressure than wipe on. I let it dry and wiped off and it came out just perfect.
Thanks to the both of you!
Why yes...yes it is! :props:
I took that angle intentionally to get it in there and wondered if anyone would notice.
This is a better pic
The wife recently got a new car, a Bali Blue Acura MDX. Its only 4 months old but so the interior was flawless and the exterior was in pretty good shape for a dealership "detail".
Well this weekend I decided to give it a full detail. It was raining earlier this week so it was pretty dirty to...
So I did some reading last night on using the Klasse SG product and thought I read that if I ran into some tough spots when removing it I could just spritz with water.
My process was to use a small MF pad to apply to 1 or 2 panels at a time. Let drive for 10-15 min (its hot out) and buff out...

Thanks to both. I decided to go with the 106 & blue pad after I hit a couple of spots with the 83 & orange pad, namely the front bumper cover and a small spot on the trunk lid.
My 6 min lunch break is over and its time to head back out there.
So I took my bday off to detail my 03 Cobra. :dblthumb2:
Trying to make it look like a mirror for a Cobra event this weekend! It is a mineral grey (color of wet sand)
I washed it and have already clayed it. Overall it is pretty good shape with only a few light scratches, no spider webbing...
Because of an equipment malfunction (edge pad fell apart) today it looks like I may need to do my LSP by applying the wax by hand (gasp). If I go that route and drive the car for a week there is no reason I can't do a simple wash next weekend and reapply the wax with my new pads, right...
Thanks I might see if he is around.
In my Edge 2000 kit I got from AGO the white was the White Ultrafine Polishing DuraFoam Pad that indicates use for waxes or sealants. I think they now come with a red pad as well.
Obviously I need to order some pads!
Yeah that is my fall back to hand wax it. Of course I plan to order new ones from AG but shipping takes a while and I'd like not to finish it up this weekend.
Why wouldn't anyone let me borrow a pad, especially if I gave something in return as collateral? I am a lurker and dont have much cred...
