    Tire mark on boat seat

My dad was moving our boat and trailer recently and decided to buy a new spare tire. We were out of space, so he put it inside the boat. When we got home, the tire had rubbed on the white vinyl seat in the back and left marks and "tattoos" of the lettering that was on the tire . I've...

    Edge smear with Meg's UP

Bottle is brand new, but that's something to keep in mind for sure. Thanks again for your help. The paint on this car was all swirled out so the results (to me anyway) feel dramatic and it's nice to look at.

    Edge smear with Meg's UP

I did what you said, and it worked well (thanks!). For fresh pads, I just used 4 dots to 'prime' the pad instead of priming the whole pad first (I was under the impression that priming the whole pad first was the best/safest way of doing this, but I'm sure it depends on the product). The...

    Edge smear with Meg's UP

Hi guys, I'm currently polishing out my brother's Black Scion tC and overall it's going fairly well. I've noticed however that I'm consistently having an issue where I finish a section, wipe off the majority of the area to a nice clean finish, but I'm left with a few spots where there is still...

Possible Damage to Steering Wheel using Steam

I'm not sure that it's "leather"/synthetic leather (I'm aware that 99% of leather in cars are synthetics). It has a hard rubber texture, so I'm not sure. By hand with mild soap from now on for sure. Also, Eldorado2K - thanks for sharing! You made me feel a lot better (I was pretty upset...

Possible Damage to Steering Wheel using Steam

Thanks for the responses thus far guys. Hi Zelfiris, I used the triangle attachment with a MF cloth, and scrubbed it back and forth for a few seconds on the wheel. I wasn't rough, but my fear is that even this short duration may have heated that section of the wheel too much.

About to buy a steam cleaner (dupray home or dupray one plus)

I should also mention that the ONE typically retails for 6-799 here (CAD I believe) when it's not on sale, and the 'run' time is about 10 minutes longer at 50 minutes compared to 40 mins for the 'HOME'.

About to buy a steam cleaner (dupray home or dupray one plus)

Sorry to dig this up, but I was just curious if anyone could comment on part of the OP's specs. I'm currently trying to decide between the Dupray "Home" and Dupray "ONE" (I cannot afford the ONE PLUS). From what I can see, the specs are as follows: HOME: 46 psi, 293 F I can get it for $299...
