Hello everyone, I have been out of the detailing world for almost two years but I am back and with a problem. The fabric convertible top of my solstice hasn't been properly cleaned in all this time, it is extremely dirty and with some mold. A friend advised me to steam wash it but I am not sure...
Nice job on that sol, is using the convertible top cleaner better than using Meguiar's APC+? Btw the exhaust system with the center outlet fascia looks awesome.
I am also looking for something for my fabric top, to protect it I have been looking at several products. The most common are 303 HTFG and Raggtopp, but I am also looking at the CarPro Fabric and Leather, GTechniq I1 and Swissvax Lotos. Maybe you want to check them out also.
Im looking for something to protect my convertible top, does anyone have any experience with this products or how do they compare to 303 High Tech Fabric Guard or RaggTopp. Is autogeek going to carry any of them soon?
I use CarPro PERL on my interior plastics and the trim, it is water based so you can dilute it with water depending of the level of shine you want. I use it 1:3 but you can even use it 1:5 which makes it a good bang for the buck.
Maybe I was wrong, don't listen to me I'm also a noob haha, I suggested that because it happen to me with the ultimate polish. I haven't used M205 so I can't really help.
I have a bunch of stuff from Blackfire, BFWD, finishing polish, gloss enhacing polish, shampoo and wheel and tire cleaner. But my favorite is Wet Diamond because it is very easy to apply and remove and makes a great shine, I liked it so much I ordered the 64oz. I also like the wheel and tire...
