    Survivor - 1974 BMW 2002 - Beautiful Once Again

Thanks Mike .... My thoughts? Mike, you and I have been at this "restoration/detailing" thing for a long time. There are SO many different variables with single stage paint polishing ..... What year is the OEM/vintage paint? What vehicle/manufacturer origin? (Domestic/Euro/Import) Color...

Best Canopy for detailing Pickup truck

20 minutes to set up both canopies. Not much energy considering they're aluminum and only weigh around 70lbs tops.

Best Canopy for detailing Pickup truck

Lol. Who's comparing anything to a Flex height. These canopies extend up to 11.5' interior height. I have had all makes of factory 4x4 trucks underneath without any clearance issues. That comment bout a comparison to the Flex was a waste of your time .....

Best Canopy for detailing Pickup truck

I've been detailing for more than 30 years now. Setting up a single canopy such as I use and adding the weights takes less than 10 minutes. I'll do that all day long. Doing any type of work under the sun isn't fun. We have just as much heat and humidity here in South Texas as any other gulf...

    Vacuum attachment brushes

Yeah, they are pretty much worthless. You'll need to search out some attachments. Home Depot & Lowes offer some.

Best Canopy for detailing Pickup truck

I use a couple of 10' x 12' canopies. No problem getting stock height full sized trucks & SUVs under them. QuikShade Purchased from Overstock.com Elite Series $168.00 per (price may be a tad lower or higher, but I know I bought them with free shipping @ $172 each.

    Best tire dressing

How many of these threads do we have now?? Lol, I'll throw in ...... VRP dressing from CG. Best I've ever used. No sling, silky to matte finish. Lasts up to two weeks with the original application. After that you can wipe it down to remove the road dust & the shine will still show. Great...

    Survivor - 1974 BMW 2002 - Beautiful Once Again

Thanks! I've owned BMWs over the years and some of the models are really nice & some not so much. I enjoy working on survivors ....... the Yugo is a no deal though. Thank you, sir Thanks! Yup, single stage. A few little dings, but no scratches to speak of. She's very...

    Survivor - 1974 BMW 2002 - Beautiful Once Again

Now I wish I had. Sun was starting to fade and the owner showed up just as I started taking pictures. Maybe I'll be able to take a few more during the maintenance details. Thanks for your compliment!

    Survivor - 1974 BMW 2002 - Beautiful Once Again

This 1974 BMW 2002 was brought to me by the original owner. Her only complaint with the car was that after washing the finish would dull and the water would stain the paint. (Before pics will show this). I applied a 2 stage polishing using Menzerna products with Fusion applied as a final...
