    Not real chrome polishing

What do I use to restore/polish up that fake plastic chrome stuff? Im going to be detailing an older Ford F-150 (2000) and it has the chrome rear bumper. Im not sure if its real chrome or not though. Its not in terrible shape, but it definitely needs a good polishing to restore it to its...

Awesome Quick wax and quick detailer

I like my Meguiar's stuff. Simple Ultimate Spray Wax and Ultimate Quick Detailer are good enough for me… I have been wanting to try the Professional Detailer line of products, I just cant afford the gallon containers yet…

Photography 101 - The low down front grill shot

The straight on shot is good, but my favorite angle to shoot is the down low diagonal angle. Like these… I think its the best angle to show off the body lines of the car. The other being the reverse, when you capture the angle of the car from the lower rear of the car:

Thanks. Im just being lazy on this one. Its a dirty old 4x4, that looks pretty damn good for a dirty old 4x4. Hahaha, the silver color hides just about everything to the naked eye. Its a great color for the wife's car… Hahaha :dblthumb2:

    After compounding...

Yes I know its aggressive. Im not necessarily looking for advice on getting rid of swirls. I know how to do that. Im saying the swirls that are there, if you can find them, don't bother me. So can I just seal it or should I, or do I NEED to follow UC with a polish?

    After compounding...

This might seem like a ridiculous question to some people, but after using Megs UC, do you have to follow it up with polish or something else or could I just use wax to seal it and be done? Reason I ask is I just started on my wife's Expedition today for a much needed detail. I thought I had...

Never Detailed a Boat Before… Help?

Ive gotten a lot of good info on here, but nothing specific. I guess the best thing I need to know is what products I should and or shouldn't use. Im partial to Meguiars products myself, and their marine line looks just as good as the other stuff. Are the automotive products recommended or not...

Never Detailed a Boat Before… Help?

Ok, so a buddy of mine asked me if I could detail his boat (small sea-doo boat), and I told him I would do some research and get back to him. Im more than capable of doing cars, but Im a complete noob when it comes to marine vehicles. How different is fiberglass? What kind of questions do I need...
