I did the same a few weeks ago. Ordered a resonator, had them install it and I also needed 12" of my dp replaced with a flange and they charged me $80 for everything. Go to one of those cheap shops, not a really nice place because they will charge you for it.

I like the 5.5" flat pads but open to trying something else.

All License plate covers in Illinois are illegal now. I actually got a warning for it last year, but I still haven't taken it off. An ugly plate can make a car look tacky. With that said I usually use a paint cleanser after washing them and they come out pretty well.
