Time management.I dont mind detailing but its a royal pain to wash a full size Silverado before I can start.Door jams and wells included.At my advanced age,57 :( it takes me about 1 1/2 hrs.including dry time with a leaf blower.

Yikes,:eek: NOT denatured alchohol,thats for furniture!!!!!!Just plain old drugstore alchohol.Denatured alchohol on a car will ruin your day

I use dielectric grease as recommended by chevy.Any silicone based product will do though.Hope this helps

I use FK 425 exclusively.Gives a really slick feel.Only downside is that it lasts till your next wash or rain.Smells good too!I keep a bottle in truck for dreaded bird bombs.Great as a clay lube also.Probably can dilute a bit for this purpose.:D
