I found old bottle of 3M rubbing compound while cleaning my garage. It says removes swirls and scratches. I now have Menz IP and Menz PO106FA. Is this 3m rubbing compound still good for anything? I do plan on doing a headlight restoration and sanding with 800-1500-2000 grit. Should I try...

BUMP for a year old thread! (and my first post) anyway, I'm basically in the same boat. Except I now have NXT 2.0. and I'm using Menz IP and Menz P106FA. Should I still need a sealant before applying NXT 2.0 (paste)? Thanks
