What I'm really trying to get at is: If I apply this over another sealant (Griots and/or others brands), will it layer over that sealant or will it 'polish' away that sealant and replace it. I'm not looking to do actual paint correction with it.

Yes, I did read post 11. That's why I noted in my earlier post that I had read contradicting information from what is printed on the box. Or am I misunderstanding the "polishing ingredients"? Does Joe represent Griots or receive that information from them?

I've read here and in other threads that this is a pure wax/sealant, however the box states that it has "rich polishing ingredients". Is that not correct? Does it have any polishers and/or cleaners? Can it be layered over other products?

Sorry, but I'm just not going to spend $50 for one 8oz tub (I didn't spend $35 for the XMT either). Maybe I'll try it out if if I notice it's BOGO some day.

A few years ago I became a fan of Pinnacle XMT 180 paste wax. It was easy on, easy off, and looked great. Unfortunately it's no longer available. I've used most OTC waxes, and currently use Collonite 476s, but none of them are quite the same. The 476 looks alright, but not as good as I remember...
