Yeah, there's no telling if the dealer instilled the swirls themselves, at least that day. The previous owner religiously took the truck to the same dealer for oil changes and scheduled maintenance...it all shows up on the CarFax. I have to imagine they may have had it dealer washed at least 6...

Straight to the point: New-to-me, Black, 2018 F150 Lariat. Picked up two weeks ago. Chrome package (PVD chrome wheels, chrome running boards/ bumpers/ exhaust tip, "plastic chrome" grill, mirror caps, etc.) The dealer ever-so-generously "prepped" it before I took possession, sigh...

Thanks, Mike! So ultimately, I guess I would just treat "PVD" Chrome like any other painted/ clear coated surface. I ended up using some Meguiars All-Wheel Cleaner (that has the iron decontaminating properties), letting it dwell and "bleed", light agitation with a wheel woolie, and rinse well...

Bringing this thread back from purgatory :) I am now the proud owner of a new-to-me 2018 F150 Lariat. The original window sticker lists "20" Chrome-Like PVD Wheels". I love the wheels, but they need to be cleaned up and shined. Truck has 36K miles on it, and while the previous owner kept it...
