Restoring the paint on my DD...first timer.

So I could not get photos in Georgia cause it was raining when I finished the car. After the rain storm, at night, I drove 800 miles to St. Louis from Georgia, hit 2 small rain storms and lots of bugs. I did a quick spray off when I got to my destination. I have to say everything that got thrown...

Restoring the paint on my DD...first timer.

Completed the process with V36 w/orange cut pad and then V38 w/white polish pad. I will have to finish tomorrow with 2 coats of black light then 2 coats of Pete's '53 then V7. Those polishes come off very easily. V36 makes a lot of dust but V38 does not at all. Great system for first timers...

Restoring the paint on my DD...first timer.

I have to say first that I will never own a black car again. After a week of a minor detail on the paint I still had scratches so I set out to do some research. I decided to pick up a lot of Chemical Guys products to fully renew my paint and interior. There is more products that are not in the...

    begging for sympathy

I probably live in the same place. Ya GA is unforgiving when it comes to heat. After a shower I am soaked the rest of the day. Best advice for OP is to drink one water and one gatorade and rotate between em. Good luck man.

Car looks amazing compared to before. What did you use on the rims? And were they clear coated rims or just polished?

    New guy from Savannah, GA

Well to start off I will say how I got to this forum. After a week of fully detailing the paint on my mustang with decent products I noticed I still had swirl marks. This was the first time I could not get them out so I must have been doing something wrong. So I set out on a mission to find...
