Alright, well thanks. I was planning on claying the car, using a swirl remover and polish and glaze and then waxing it. Does anyone know what to put after it to make it super glossy? Doesn't matter if its for 1 day only, i can keep putting it when i go out. I will only use this car at least 1...
I haven't used my Impala for over a year and has been sitting in the back for almost a year. I can't seem to take the spots that bird poo created.
I also seem to see the car's black finish turn a little brownish black. Here are the pictures. The car looks black in shade but that all changes...
Well, clay didn't do a thing. So, i'm not going to bother buying the quad. I'm thinking of re chroming. Does anyone know anyone that would do each rim on the$100-$125 on the l.a area?
They feel like they are on top but i looked up really close and it might be imprinted on the chrome. Can that be taken off?
It's a 8MB Camera phone, i think it can do better if i zoom on it and wait till i get a good focus on the spots.
Is it possible for a chrome spray just to cover them...
I used mother's chrome polish, i don't know how effective it is but i used it with a porter cable and nothing. I was thinking of using sanding but wouldn't that destroy the rims. So, i guess i should give Quad O steel wool a try? What you think?
So, you're telling me i can't do anything about them? They look fixable, they aren't penetrating the chrome or anything. Just looks like micro water or chemical spots all over the rims that can't be taking off by Chrome rim spray or chrome polish.
So, i've had my impala parked out in the back of my house for almost a year. And now i see all this little white chips on my car's paint. Any idea what cost this to happen? The car went over 2 months without washing once.
The pictures are not good, the focus is not good on the chip so i'll put...
Well, would that work? I need something that is ruff but won't damage the rims. The wool will give fine scratches on the rims? And then i take them off with a polish?
Edit:
I'm located by Los Angeles. I also wanted to find out about them because my car stayed parked for almost 1 year in my...
Told my gf if she could bring me a chrome polish from autozone on her way home and brought me Mother's Chrome Polish but didn't do anything. You can feel the dots slightly with your nails. Will steel wool do it? The rims also have like a dirty brown look shine that i can't take off.
I have a...
I have some rims with thousands of little micro dots everywhere. Is it possible to take them off? You can't feel them, they look like someone sprayed something into them.
What product can take them off?
Ignore the water spots.
