The Season of Discontent is upon us...

Ive been dreading this season coming as well. Not only do I enjoy detailing and maintaining the cars, buts also like a therapy for me as well. I cant explain the relaxation there is in that first thing in the morning, looking at the 7 or 8 soaps on the shelf and wondering "what do I want the...

I saw alot of what you were discussing at a fun show a few weeks ago. I saw numerous cars not even washed and a guy trying to clean his brand...

    Products Streaking on Car Hood

Is the hood the first panel you always start on? Ive noticed when I first start any kind of protection the first panel gets the most product since thats after priming the waxpad. Also as the others have stated as well, heat is a huge factor in streaking. Try to keep the coats of whatever your...

    Best easy to use Topper

I know its not on the OP's list however I have had really great results with Griots ceramic speed shine as a topper/maintenance sacrificial layer. Very easy product to use, probably good for a month or so protection wise and has done well on both a white Grand Cherokee as well as a black Lucerne.

A week has gone by after I applied glaze, never got around to sealant ... now what?

Won't a glaze underneath hurt the sealant from bonding or curing? Or is that an old school myth?

WANTED: Vintage bottles of Pinnacle, DP, Blackfire etc.

I just came across this thread, I still have a bottle of the original DP final finish polish. If I remember correctly, I got this as part of a "mystery" DP samples pack way back. Mike, if you are interested, I would be happy to send this out to you for your collection.
