    Dirt on headliner?

Looking for some advice to remove dirt from a headliner. Loaded the car up with sod and while I thought I was careful not to load it too high, I apparently hit the roof in a couple spots. I'd tackle it with an APC or something but am concerned I would just make mud and create a bigger stain...

    Glass Tool Feedback?

Thanks for the input. Looks like the Glass Master is plastic, although it has apparently fooled a few reviewers on various sites. In some pics, it does look metal, but in others it is obviously plastic. Maybe it used to be metal. If there was a metal one, it would definitely be my pick...

    Glass Tool Feedback?

A combination of my short arms and the long windshield of a Prius has me looking at tools like the Glass Master and the Invisible Glass tool made by Stoner to reach down on the bottom of the interior glass. They look go be the same thing, and they might even be the same thing. I'm wondering...

    Winter Washer Fluid?

Thanks for the input. I have Aquapel that I meant to put on last year (partially because I never got my windshield "clean") that I'll put on this year. Then maybe I'll just use some gentler and hope for the best. Unless I head back north sometime, I just deal with salty spray for the most...

    Winter Washer Fluid?

After years of using the orange Rain-X stuff for my winter fluid, I realized it was leaving a filmy residue on the windshield (noticeable where the wipers didn't go), hood behind the nozzles, and the roof of my old car. I'd scrub the windshield and could never get it off. I know Rain-X...

    What to buy

As I humbly admit I haven't waxed my one car for about a year, I say that to mention that it has Collinite 845 on it and still beads. It is garaged at home, but sits out all day at my wife's office.

    Could use a few recommendations

I've been searching the forums to try and find a good answer, but I'm not getting much on a couple. Maybe my search skills stink. Figured I'd just ask for some thoughts. Here is what I am looking for on this particular day. Exterior Plastic Cleaner: Is there a product that is a slam dunk...

New car need products, help me with some starters

I used 845 for my first time waxing a car since I was a kid doing it with my Dad watching. No problems putting it on. Just get a nice light haze and wipe off. Don't over think it.

    Nationwide network of detailers?

From a consumer standpoint I've grown wary of sites like this. If I am searching for a service and find some sort of aggregator like that, I'll move on. I'd rather find an individual website with some legit looking pictures of work.

Harbor Freight DA Polisher - New

Thanks Beamer. Placed my order for a LC 5" backing plate and some flat 5.5" pads in orange, white, and black last night. Just need to get over to HF. Now if I could just wave a magic wand and have claying over with, I'd be really excited.

Harbor Freight DA Polisher - New

I'd appreciate a copy of the directions, although I think I remember what page they are on in this thread, seeing I just read the whole thing. I always miss it when the GG6 goes on sale, so I'm thinking I'll grab one of these for a first DA. I'd like to try my hand with one while I still have...

    303 Fabric affect clothing?

I was going to use 303 fabric on my new car (it is a commuter, so didn't feel like spending for leather) to protect mostly against a possible drop here and there of coffee at 5AM. With that said, I couldn't help but wonder if this stuff could transfer onto any clothing you wear? 90% of the...

    Salesperson

Agree with this. While I am not in the detailing business, I am in the business world, and you would need to have an operation that was large enough to benefit from a dedicated sales/marketing guy. As Mark pointed out, I could see an ops person being the first hire. Someone to manage...

    Waxing and Glass care questions

I guess I'll just hold on the Aquapel then. I grabbed a couple with my last order, but I doubt they need to be used right away. Maybe I'll try one on my non-detailed workhorse car that is already messed up from RainX winter washer fluid.

    Waxing and Glass care questions

Rather than start a new thread, I hope I can hop on this one. I finally detailed my wife's car this weekend and put Klasse AIO on the glass. Can the Aquapel just go over the top of it? Or should Aquapel stand on its own?
