Meguiar's Hot Rims Brake Dust Barrier Review and Testing

How far does it go? Not sure what that questions means. It acts as a great barrier so I don't have to spend a ton of Sonax getting my wheels cleaned up. I'd say it makes follow up washes and getting brake dust off very easy. 1 can should do about 10 cars depending on the wheels. If it has a...

    Working Out/Staying in shape-thread

Working out 3 days a week on and off. Too many things get in the way at that time. Upped my weight from 144 to 155 and staying steady now. Focusing on core vs body building. Dropped all supplements and trying to maintain good dietary health.

How to clean 3M vinyl wrap???

I've used quick detailer but it leaves streaks and its hard to get a clean finish if its matte black. I've used 303 on the vinyl I have on my car and given the color and finish I never have issues. Just the matte finish in black that gives me issues.

You "polished my drive shaft once before but didn't get aggressive enough for my liking". I just loled a lot. Funny! :)

How to handle this type of client?!

^Kudo's and I think congrats are in order. They are definitely top notch and they have a lot of trust to be giving you a call so whatever you're doing is working! Watching that video brought a tear to my eye. They're one of those dream shops I'd be so happy to work within. Koenigsegg, Pagani...

How to handle this type of client?!

They are into automotive restoration. They do not do simple modern replica's. Their work is not to be taken lightly. Taste of their work. Full magnesium shell. They aren't into repainting and corrupting a classic with modern technology. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EU-yHC_2Z8Y]The one...

    Garage make over

Mine's so basic its ridiculous! 1. Separate area for tools vs detailing implements. 2. Reference lights surrounding the car. 3. Inspirational artwork to keep you going. 4. Area for a basic yet functional sound system. 5. Broom to keep work area clean and pristine. 6. Special area for safety...

Advice for metallic black paint - Dealership Installed Swirls

Seriously how did they do that in one wash?! They had to be a special kind of careless to do that much damage. That's really sad!

Holograms & scratches put into your car by someone else should be a crime

Car washes that have those dumb brushes should be a crime. I feel like warning people about it but I feel like it makes me come across as a know it all. Been called that before, so it's hard to say anything. So far the dealership I take my car to has been awesome with not doing anything they...

    Flipping cars

I haven't done it so far. If you're talking about making a lot of money off it, nah. I've just seen a lot of bikes and cars that are mechanically okay but are in terrible condition to look at and can just use a little TLC to make everything look great again. For me at this time I'd love to pick...

    Flipping cars

I've been wanting start with bikes and then move to cars. Once you have an eye for what's right and whats wrong its pretty fun. Investment cost is what I'd be wary of though.
