    Clay disentegrates during use

It's possible. The truck as I mentioned was very dirty. Litterally rough to the touch on the side panels and the hood was completely hazed over. The piece I used had done another vehicle and was essentially half a bar. It was dirty but still yellow in color.

    Clay disentegrates during use

Quick google of Kupala Clay turns us back to AG forum. Looks like this was discussed a few days ago. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/27840-do-some-clay-lubes-eat-another-brand-clay.html We probably need to adjust the blanket suggestion that you can use a wash/water mix.

    Clay disentegrates during use

Storage was the usual suggested. Place in plastic with a couple of squirts of QD. Stored in garage...Not temp controlled. Lube was a mix of 1/2 oz of NXT wash and 16 oz of water. And Bullit this is exactly what was happening.

    Clay disentegrates during use

Hello. I reacently picked up a 98 Explorer XLT that was an outside truck. Paint wasnt cared for at all. Truck was gritty to the touch so I knew that a claying would be in order before any other paint correction. I used a piece of Mothers Gold clay....I started on the right front quarter panel...

aqua-wax still the way to go?

Recently ordered a gallon of AW. Got the order and started 2nd guessing why did I order so much AW. I have a Nighthawk Black Pearl Acura TL that needs a wash often. After drying it is left with lots of water spots. It's crazy hot in Texas right now and water evaporates on the car almost as...

    Tough cars to keep clean!

Nighthawk Black Pearl is gorgeous. I always chuckle when I am out at night and the car is suddenly this deep shade of Blue. BenzDetailer: Great suggestion about the credit card. I will have to try that next time. It does seem like a quick way to get those edges 1st then use the Schmitt to...

    PB Trim Restorer Review

Great product. It brought sun faded trim on a poorly maintained Maxima.Returned it to a beautifully sheened black. It also does a great job of removing wax on trim as well. I hand apply with microfiber towel. It is very oily so watch where you apply.

Drying car after rain and QD for wheels

This comment made me think of Texas rain storms. I live in Dallas and from time to time rain storms come from the West where there is a lot of dirt kicked up by the storm. So when it rains it literally rains mud. I'd hate to see what that rain would do to my paint if I just wiped it down.

    Bongo page

Based on a previous thread priming the pad with QD and SSR2 product caused some dusting. So it was suggested to not prime pad before using SSR2.

Poorboys line overall is great. I am thinking of picking up the SSR2 and SSR1. However I am slow to pull the trigger as the SSR2 is an "older" product. Since SSR2 poorboys has updated with SSR2.5 and then theres the XMT products and based on my reading of a few posts here both may be easier...
