I would never have my boat derailing guy lift up the boat to clean, if its under and not accessible lets make note and leave it for next time is what I do. its not worth someone lifting so much for me :-)

I do tip when I get my car a professional detailing services here in Detroit, I tip based on how the work is done, I try to gauge work done from previous services to this and pay anywhere between 7-15% tip.
