Quick winter prep on wife's Mazda 6

No marring that I could see. I used the fine grade, 2 passes, as Mazdas are supposed to have soft paint.

Quick winter prep on wife's Mazda 6

Thanks for all the comments ! - I just completed the wax on the whole car like you suggested and put and additional coat on the front and bumper and front fenders, using BalckFire Spray wax. So now the whole car has 1 coat of BFCS, and 1 coat of Meg's spray wax. Front fascia / bumper /...

Quick winter prep on wife's Mazda 6

Note: 1st time I have every clayed (Nanoskin) or used a sealant. I am a total novice: This was a quick one (only exterior, and wheels were not done - that's for later). Just to get wife's new Mazda 6 a bit ready for winter/snow if any at all. Car is only like 8 months old and has been so far...

    Detailing Advice Needed

How about just wash, clay and an AIO product like Klasse AIO? skips the polishing step, and adds decent shine and protection....and you can layer for added longevity...

How about WW, clay, (then wash again), and DG501 polish by hand, then seal with sealant of choice?

Removing plasti-dip reisude from inner surfaces of alloy wheel.

So I have a set of alloy wheels that were plasti dipped at some point by a previous owner. The visible outside (painted) surfaces are completely free of plasti dip and it has been removed well, with no damage to the clear coat etc. BUT, on the insides (non-painted rough areas), as in the inrer...

    I hate white paint!!!

Sometimes I hate the alpine white on my BMW because I can never 'show it off' with reflections etc like dark cars, and I need to do a full detail (wash/clay/wash/polish/seal) on it, but keep putting it off... Right now, the only care it gets is ONR washes and Sonax brilliant shine QD: It can...
