I would try Rapid Remover. It's a spray designed to remove vehicle wrap adhesive. Spray on leave on for 1min wipe off. It's worked well for me with old dried on adhesive. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

If you use a heat gun or steamer to remove it is would purchase some Rapid Remover. It's for removing glues or any tacky substance. I also believe it was created for the vehicle rap industry but don't quote me on that. It is pricy so make sure you charge appropriately. Sent from my SM-G930V...

The brown spot may be a rust spot the can occur when there is a tiny pinhole on you paint that goes to the metal. A quick spritz of Iron X will fix that easily if that is what it is. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Well put Jaretr1. Bottom line for me is D101 my preferred APC because of its great cleaning ability on both hard surfaces and carpets.

Meguiars APC also has a foaming agent in it. It really helps clean surfaces when you agitate it with a brush.
