    What's better than Rain-X?

I have never been able to do that much. Normally I can do the windshield and both driver and passenger side front windows . After that it starts running pretty dry. On a smaller car I might be able to get the back window too.

Dealership offering "Polysteel Enviromental Protection" really?

Might as well repaint the car for that kinda money. The most expensive product I could imagine is the opti-coat which is 50 dollars per application and probably 6-8 hours of prep. say 400 dollars in labor, 50 dollars in product? Then... double it? there is no way to justify 800 dollars. It's a...

    Autogeeks/Computer Geeks - Help!

worst comes to worst you can send the drive to a data recovery service. Since there was no physical damage to the drive they will probably be able to get them all back. Even deleted files are not really fully deleted. You will have to pay for it, but if the data is valuable enough it may be...

Tuf Shine Tire Clearcoat: Permanent Tire Protection Made Simple

How permanent is "permanent" ? All tire shine products look great when you first apply them. What will this stuff look like a week or two down the road?

    Budget Carpet Extractor

Just for personal use, I will actually rent a rog doctor with the upholstry attachment. It's like 30 bucks at the local grocery store and it does a fantastic job. If I do it once a year I figure it's worth it. It's much much more powerful than that little Bissel and it holds alot more cleaning...

    Polishing glass

I'd like to know this too. I tried once with my DA and a glass pad and the Cerium Oxide paste and I don't think I made a dent. I did find, however, that the cerium oxide works like magic on headlight lenses.

If you had to use one product line...

Meguiar's or Optimum. Meguiar's because the stuff is readily available in retail stores in large part. not all of their stuff but a lot of it. It's also good quality. Not TOP quality, but good stuff.

    Mike's Glass Cleaning Tips

I have that Glass cleaner pro ( bought from AG ) and it's great. My arms would get so sore trying to reach and clean the windshield. that thing makes it easy. Any one ever try and polish a fine scratch out of glass? Is it even possible? I tried once using some Cerium Oxide paste and a glass...

    winter prep with collinite 476

476 is more durable, it's just harder to work with. difficult to buff off and really gums up your applicator. It's not really a big deal as far as I am concerned. If it lasts through the winter I'll take a few extra minutes/
