It does greatly depend on the condition of the car, but I can do all of the following on most cars in 4-5 hours; sometimes less, and sometimes more. Engine cleaning, clean rims and tires and dress them, clean door jambs, wash, wax, vacuum the whole interior, steam carpets and seats, wipe down...

I would say that it varies greatly as I've had to do cars where it will take me 2 hours to do everything (Lexus GL470 [not a small car]), but I've also had cars that were trashed that have taken 8 hours.

I would also like to say though that I started taking on dealership work at a local used car dealer. He has me to the main cleaning of everything, and then he has another guy who comes in and and does leather repair as well as carpet dying. I don't know whether he is unusual in obtaining this...

I have a job lined up for a customer who has a 3 month old Mazda CX-9. The customer had a dealer applied coating put on it. The coating is from DuPont and the dealer told the man that it would need to be topped off every 3-4 months. Does anyone have a recommendation on what I need to use to top...

Ok I fixed both of those. I've also decided to just leave pricing where it is. I don't have to quote someone on the low end of that spectrum if they live farther away. I just need to factor that into consideration when giving quotes.

Well I based the prices off of Renny Doyle's book. I'm still thinking I'm on the low of what I should be charging. Not sure though wether to raise my prices now or wait.
