I understand the issue of finding an affordable shop. Any one with good roadside visibility near a busy street is expensive otherwise you will be in an industrial area that doesnt have alot of potential customers/traffic driving by making you heavily dependent on advertising

Whatever you put on there to “protect it“ will need to be washed off anyhow so personally I will just plan on putting it up on ramps and cleaning it thoroughly after I get home

If you had a cord to tether to a backpack or belt doesn’t that defeat the whole “cordless” thing? Be better off just plugging it into the wall at that point and not dealing with wearing the battery

I agree with this, I had a lot of success with my Economy wash or “express detail” consisting of a basic wash, spray wax, interior vacuum, wipe the dash and console and clean the windows. Make a quick few bucks and start building up your customer base and referrals
