I just got the hood replaced and painted (base with clear coat) on my 2008 BMW 535. When will it be OK to wash and apply sealant to the new paint? I typically use Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant on my cars. Thank you.

It's applied at the port by Southeast Toyota before they reach the dealerships along with other add ons according to Toyota. I'm not sure about the quality of the product. Of course Toyota says it's great, precision cut etc. Is there a particular sealant you would recommend using?

I use Meguiars Last Touch. Maybe there are better products out there, but, it works for me. I also dilute it and use as a clay lube.
