I usually use a degreaser and brush to clean my wheel wells then use barebones as a dressing to make the wheel wells shine

    Washing microfiber towels separately?

Since all my stuff goes in the same bucket after I'm done doing a detail... I usually put it all in the bath tub, rinse them and let them soak in warm water with some cleaner Then I run them in the washer with micro fiber wash, let them dry over night or a quick cycle in the dryer

I work at an auto parts store and yes people belive the cheapest wipe on product will do the job and last forever I explain the "think of it as dead skin" and the kits where you sand will work better

Meguiar's Mirror Bright vs DUB wheel cleaner

I have been using MB for a few months and I tried the dub a few weeks ago Mb is not bad but I had issues getting it to cling on customer cars I feel like the dub did cling and work a little better but I think I can use a whole bottle of both in no time I'm either trying sonax or Adams soon

    Most product on hand?

Microfiber towels is probably what I keep the most of when I go on a detail but I try to buy a gallon of everything I use. Gallon of wax, clay lube, extractor fluid, soap, carpet shampoo When I do buy the small bottles of stuff I end up with 2 or 3 on hand as backup

    New guy from West Virginia

Hey I'm Josh, new to detailing and trying to have a detail business on the side. My dad use to manage a hand wash when I was little so I kinda grew up around it for a few years. I'm the detail go-to guy at the local parts store I work at. Joined here to learn more about detailing and discover...
