    Nanoskin Wash Mitt

Thanks Darrin. As you mentioned, I too use just enough pressure to allow the mitt to glide on the surface. I'm finding mostly Asian cars giving me the most marring but even some Chevy and Ford vehicles, so it's hard to pin point which vehicles would be best candidates for these clay...

    Nanoskin Wash Mitt

I am looking for some answers from other detailers on why or how the Nanoskin Wash Mitt or any other claybar alternative products leave marring on paints. I have used every type of clay lube available to see if it was a lubricity problem. Nope! I have used brand new Nanoskin mitts correctly...

    Cyber Monday orders

Thanks guys. I've been putting off buying the VX5000 since I started my business, thinking I could get by without it. As I've grown my customer base I'm finding more and more areas that I could prove to be a huge time manager. I'm not sure which item I'm more excited about, the Rupes or the...

Nasty Caked On Carbon on Exhaust Tips

+1 Every Audi, BMW or Jag I do has this build up and I reach for the P21S polishing soap. Depending on how bad it is, additional applications may be needed but overall it works like a dream!

Converting utility trailer to enclosed trailer

Thank you. I second your thought of paranoia but time will change that a little bit. Besides, this would be the reason of carrying insurance. Got to learn to not sweat the little things so much.

Converting utility trailer to enclosed trailer

That second picture you posted under "maybe with an end result like these" is the inside of my trailer! I'm happy to know people are checking it out for ideas as that's what I display them for. I remember when I started out searching for hours to find ideas on how to set my rig up. All is I...

    Starting A Mobile Detail Rig

Blazinbelltech has nice stuff but pricey. That said I don't regret the expense at all. It makes a statement to my clients and makes everything organized. VAS - you're not far off minus all the products and misc. items. I could have done thing a little cheaper but when you have a vision of...

    Starting A Mobile Detail Rig

These are just a few pictures of my set up in a 6x12 enclosed. I have made changes and added additional storage since these photos have been taken but you get the idea. On the floor I used two coats of roll on bedliner material and went up the sidewalls 8". If you have any questions or...

    Menzerna critique

I used PG last weekend for the first time on some very deep scratches on a 2006 Dodge Ram MegaCab that was Black Pearl. I used a yellow LC foam pad with PG and I was amazed at how well it finished! No holograms and little hazing after wiping it down. I followed up with SI1500 on an orange LC...

    Menzerna & ambient temps

I seen that on the bottle but took it as being the storage temp but you're right, it makes sense that it would also be the working temp. @Bob - not a day goes by that I'd enjoy having a shop to work in when our Indiana weather takes a turn for the worse. My garage isn't heated and is for a...

    Menzerna & ambient temps

Thanks guys. Bob, I was thinking along the same lines as you mentioned wind and panel surface temps being an added problem with what I was encountering. It was windy, the panel was cold and the air temp was below the recommended temp to work the product.
