    More aggressive compound or pad?

Yes, I did use the WG twins, but not their sealant. I used Klasse. Looks great!

    Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze?

Did the Z4 with the Klasse kit today! I used a white pad on a PC to do the AIO, which worked pretty good. When I started, I was using too much product, even though I was pretty stingy putting it on the pad. Putting a little pressure on the pc would help speed up the process when I did use too...

    Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze?

In the Klasse kit that just arrived, the instructions mention doing a machine application for both the AIO, and the glaze. The Porter Cable would save time, but it it easier to get good results by hand or machine?Feed back please

    More aggressive compound or pad?

It does give me a sense of accomplishment when I look at my results. I was definetly anxious about doing it when I started. I even looked into buying a BMW panel to practice on, until I found out it would cost at least $150 at a junk yard. While I didn' t work on the car everyday, it must have...

    More aggressive compound or pad?

The Z4 is done, except for the mirrors! Is it perfect? No. Does it look damn near perfect? Yes. I did the entire car at least twice. Some panels, such as the hood and trunk were done three times with a orange pad. The finishing glaze was done on the entire car once with a blue pad. The hood...

    More aggressive compound or pad?

No contact with the trim, but I'm now wondering if it's from the gaps around the hood.

    More aggressive compound or pad?

Using a blue pad,and I did tape. It wasn't much, and I only noticed when doing the horizontal surfaces. Not enough to notice on the side of the car.

    More aggressive compound or pad?

When using the WG finishing glaze, I noticed some black dust. Normal?

    More aggressive compound or pad?

Are you suggesting that I use the Meg 205 that I mentioned in my original post? What would be different?

    More aggressive compound or pad?

The one thing I've done from the start is a speed 6. Mike and other members suggested 15 pounds of pressure on the PC. That did it, but still required 2 sets of passes. A couple of spots required 3 passes.

    More aggressive compound or pad?

This is a project that I've wanted to do for years. I now have the time since I retired late last year. I've been using my Porter Cable for waxing, and paint cleansing. With the help from this forum, and Mike Phillips, I had the confidence to take on this project. I had to watch some of Mike's...

    More aggressive compound or pad?

Yes, it does look good! At least as good as when I purchased it new in early 2007. So far, I done 2 sets of passes on what I've done because one didn't do it. I started to get concerned that I'd run out of polish. While it's not perfect, it's not worth more passes.

    More aggressive compound or pad?

Yesterday, I polished the passenger side of the car. Today, I did the hood for the second time. This time, I finished using the WG glaze with a blue pad. I worked it a lot longer than I had before. That was the difference from the first time that I used it. After finishing the hood today, I...

    More aggressive compound or pad?

Today, I did the drivers side. It did take two sets of passes. I had to do a section over the rear wheel three times. It looks great! Again, I used the WG glaze on the front fender. And again, it looked a little cloudy. Not much, but noticeable to me. I wonder if I'm not working it long...

    More aggressive compound or pad?

No circular swirls, so I'm not making it worse. I will do the hood again.
