Introducing the DP Turbo Car Dryer! 6.5 Peak Horsepower Blower for Drying Your Car!

In my shoping cart along with many other items just waiting for a good discount.

With a good wax, sealant or coating on your cars you'll wonder why you didn't dry this way all along.

Mine is on its way. Been using my heavy gas leaf blower. So excited to try this.

Words of advice: point the nozzle(s) at the car, this unit is very powerful and will kick up dust off the floor, knock stuff off shelves, loosen fluorescent tubes. Ask me how I know... :D

It goes without saying that am I ecstatic to finally announce a project we have been working on for quite some time now...introducing the DP Turbo Car Dryer!

DP Turbo Car Dryer is a lightweight, handheld car dryer that is powerful enough to blow water off your vehicle, leaving it with a streak and scratch free finish after every wash! Use the DP Turbo Car Dyer to dry your entire vehicle, or to simply blast water from cracks and crevices, behind emblems, in between body panels, and anywhere else water can hide. DP Turbo Car Dryer features a powerful 6.5 peak horsepower motor that blows filtered air onto your vehicle, making it easier than ever to dry your car while avoiding water spots – even in direct sun!

Let’s get to the specs: First, the unit packs a whopping 6.5 peak horsepower motor that draws its power from a 35 foot power cord, eliminating the need for extension cords and helping you avoid electrical shock altogether. Second, the air is filtered, meaning you’ll never blow dirt, sand or leaves into your precious clear coat finish at high velocities. Third, the 6 foot flexible hose features a vinyl-coated nozzle that will not scratch or mar you paint if contact accidentally occurs. Last, but certainly not least, the DP Turbo Car Dryer is proudly made in the USA.

DP Turbo Car Dryer is powerful enough to dry your entire car without taxing your muscles. It only weighs a couple pounds, and the 6 foot hose is long enough to reach the roof of most vehicles. If it doesn’t reach all the way, the powerful 6.5 peak horsepower motor packs enough of a punch to blast the water off, even if it’s held a couple feet from the panel.

Keep your eyes peeled on Velocity Network, as the DP Turbo Car Dryer will be airing on an episode of My Classic Car with Dennis Gage in the coming weeks. :dblthumb2:

Let's get real here. A 6.5 hp motor, running on household 120 volt power with a fairly thin power cord would require ~5000 watts of power, and at 120 volts that's over 40 amps. If the circuit breaker didn't pop, 40 amps of power through that little cord would cause it to heat up and burst into flames.

Let's talk about peak HP. Peak HP is not measured on this device on how much work the motor is producing, instead it is measured how much power the motor is consuming and that peak is as soon as you turn it on.

I realize this is a peeve to purists but most every consumerl product uses this method so it is not like one is doing something that no one else is doing. In fact if a company rated theirs by the original calculation consumers would overlook it so it is what it is.

This might be a stupid question but I've never used any type of forced air to dry a car. Don't you run a big risk of blowing contaminants from the ground back up onto the paint you've just finished washing?

Yes, it certainly is a possibility. But just like almost every other facet of advanced car care -- perhaps the reason you joined this forum -- taking care to do a job properly is par for the course.

if you're doing a traditional bucket wash then spray around the car with water in the driveway (I do it when cleaning wheels/tires so that gunk that comes off isn't on dry cement) so you can spray away any dust/dirt. just use some common sense and use it in an area that's appropriate and you'll be fine...

Even though I dry my car out of the sunlight I have this unit best when leaving just enough water on the car to prevent water spots. A good clean microfiber towel to complete the job is best. Great for drying the mirrors, grills, headlights, taillights, and other places water remains. Great for wheels as well.

The DP Turbo Car Dryer is a game-changing tool for drying your vehicle. It’s 4x more powerful than other small, lightweight and portable blowers while offering several other drying attachments unoffered by other tools.
