Is the paint on this vehicle typically hard? Feed back please
 
Uh, no. Think new Camaro black. If your not familiar with Camaros then think maybe a little "harder" than BMW jet black. Finishes out better than the softest of blacks.

My 08 Escalade ext was pretty hard, I'm more of a novice detailer though. I ended up having to go down to Cyan pad(6.5") with M105 to get satisfied with the correction. I'll be ordering MF pads to try in the future.
 
I'm about to tackle a poorly maintained one today. Let's see how this goes...
 
GM black works out very well with MF pads. If you don't have them, try the lightest correction possible in a test area first.
 
Good luck everybody, but why not do a test spot and let the results speak for themselves?
