Cabinetmaking is a very highly regarded skilled trade...
Pay commensurate with ones skill-level.
(I'm sure you've given this a thought, or two.)

Woodworking, specifically Custom Cabinetry is in the family (Originally my dad, uncle, and Grandparent's business) so I have a decent amount of experience in the cabinetry department. Chair looks good. Keep up the nice work.

I work with wood a little bit! Thinking about making a bird house I post a pic if I do nice chair!

You're right, it's a detailing forum and that's why it's posted in "Off-Topic" since it doesn't pertain to detailing. Anything within forum rules can be posted here. I'd like to see photos of more woodworking projects if anybody has them. Nice job Bill!

I like to mess around and build whatever. The most recent is my still work in progress cat perch/mansion. Also, have a large bedroom closet and built-in/in-wall entertainment center being built right now too.

One of my most recent finished projects was this swinging chair I made from a pallet. I have a picture of it hanging.. I'm just not sure where at the moment.

I definitely enjoy it.

I don't consider myself a woodworker, but I did build a coffee table last year (followed a plan, but modified some things).

Was a carpenter out of high school but now a furniture finisher. For the past 24 years I working with inmates teaching the fine craft of building and finishing furniture. And working with inmates I do have to wet sand and polish there mistakes. It's nice when I get an offender that has worked in the auto detailing field.

Nice work guys, I have done wood work as well for the custom guitar amps I build. Walnut 1x12 cab with a scumback in there, and a shot of a head cab made from Padauk. Enjoy:

It currently has a glass top on it, but in this picture, it has 4 coats of minwax oil based poly and then the top was rotten stoned out to improve clarity
