I'm thinking of getting a bra just for long hwy drives. The black accords paint chipped easily. I want to avoid that on the new car. Any suggestions for something easy on, off

Look up a product called "Road Wrap". It is a temporary clear film.

I would check out the Clear Bra technology.

Here is an example of a company Xpel Ultimate. Expensive but cool.

Griots has stuff you can wrap the front of the car in - but it looks pretty bad if I recall. Masking tape is another bad looking option.

3M's Kit is probably what your looking for and is OTC...there are some other kits as well - but I think most of them are aimed at bugs - not impacts. This would be an important distinction to make.

I wish I could post the pic here of what I thought of when I heard "temporary bra"...

I'd like to see that pic

I used a bra like this on my T-Bird for highway trips. I just made sure I had a good coat of wax or sealant on the car before using the bra. And I ONLY used it for highway travel I didn't wash the car with it on and I tried not to drive with it on in the rain.

Don, is it easy to put on and take off. I was looking at something like this. The plastic sprays and I saw one that you use a paint roller to apply, scare me. I'm sure they'd be ok since theres protection but theres just something about it that bugs me
