I've searched through the site and am not coming up with them, but sometimes navigating it can be interesting. Anyone know if they sell these here?

Hook and loop brush attachments for a DA.

They do for the PC, I'm looking for ones with a Hook and Loop attachment for a Flex. Chemical guys make some, but I'd rather buy from AG than them.

The answer is simple. Order a Porter Cable. From AG.

I have both, styles. I prefer the Cyclo style, you attach to the da in place of the backing plate. The different stiffness levels come in handy as well depending on what you want to clean. The other advantage with the cyclo brushes is they are smaller in diameter which makes it easier to fit into small spaces. I have used them on both my GG6 and GG3 with great success. If you do use the Chemical Guys style on carpet, wear safety glasses, the stuff will surely fly, be prepared and go slow.

AG does sell them, I order one but they are on back order

Do you have the link for them?

I already have a Flex and since CG whole site is on sale right now, I want to see if AG will price match.

I am looking for a used PC (or GG), but am not going to pay for a brand new (yet) to just have a dedicated carpet brush.

I use the Cyclo brushes (I have aqua and white, mostly use the aqua), with the aqua permanently mounted to a HF -- new for about the same price as a seriously well-used PC or GG6.

HF is the same size (of the entire tool) as the PC/GG?

On a side note, don't know why I forgot about the HF DA, probably will just pick up one of those when I get a 25% off coupon.

Yep, same size. A couple of quick mods and you're golden. It's even got more input and output power than the PC, but I've still dedicated it to brushes instead of my PC.

Think I saw that thread somewhere on how to mod it. Mind linking it so I can bookmark it, if you know where it is to save me from searching?

That's what I'm looking for, a dedicated carpet brush power tool. I hate doing upholstery and these things really help.

Reviews on the hook n loop aren't so good. Saying the backing comes off with too much use. Making the HF/cyclo brushes a better choice. Plus, the cyclo brushes have a brush soft enough for leather, and all 3 of my vehicles are leather. The DA is much safe than the drill attachment, I've burned through the carpet on accident once.

I ordered it also in late December and am still waiting for it. It is still on back order. I tried looking for it but i don't think its on the site right now.

I'll be honest the hook and loop style brushes don't work well. They fly off at the slightest bit of pressure. Makes the useless for carpet cleaning.

Makes sense, I searched tons of keywords.

The reviews I've read said the same thing.

TBH I haven't done my mods yet because it's -12°F out now, and just 40° in the garage with the furnace blowing at full tilt... Naganahappen. But I've acquired the M4 screws, rubber-jacketed cord (enough for all my power tools, actually), and AR15 grease.

There's a printable coupon out there for 20% off at HF right now, so I'm on my way to pick it up then stop at Lowes to get the screws, grease, look at cords and some caps for my gallon pumps.

Where did you get your cord from?

AG just needs to have another 20% off and the brushes will be on there was as well.

NM, I saw where you got it in the HF DA Mod thread.

I'd get the grease at HF while I was there, or at an auto parts place. You're looking for "extreme pressure grease". I ended up with a tube of CRC Sta-Plex Extreme Pressure Premium Red Grease, but I believe HF carries it in smaller tubs as well.
