What's the most you make a year with detailing? I had started a price list but at least 5 customer per month from the range it would be 1620-2400 a year which in my eyes not good. I need some type of base where customers will pay for the services but I still can see a nice pretty penny also.... But I'm new to the area with my business

So many variables to your question.Are you mobile or brick and mortar is the weather bad where you live.who is your competition how much do they charge.what segment market are you trying get,is it production or full blown paint correction only,are you gonna hire or do by yourself.Do you live at home or rent your own place.

Yes much more info is needed. Also list your prices so we can see where you are starting. Not sure if you had a typo but are you saying 5 cars a month for 12 months is only $1600-$2400?
 
5 customers per MONTH? That is why you wont make much money, even being mobile there is no way to justify it for 5 a month. You need to be up in the 2-3 per day as a solo act.

Maybe 2 washes and a detail, or 2 details, or 4-5 washes PER DAY.
