Has one subscribed and been listening to the show? If so, what are your thoughts on the show itself, be honest

Awwww Roger, I'd LOVE to listen but I don't do ANYTHING Google.

I bet it's awesome though!

Has anyone subscribed to the podcast I was on? I was apart of a two part, special edition one on the C8 (I'm not a fan of the C8 at all, sorry) I believe I'm pretty fair about it, check it out and all my "hot takes", yes I'm opinionated but I try to explain myself fairly.

Subscribed and still listening.

And I'm with you, I find the C8 to be pretty bland. The design is meh and I hate the sound of the engine, sounds fake.

No sadly and information today is suggesting that GM have canceled making a right hand drive version for Australia.

I listen to Autoline Daily everyday and haven't heard that, where did you hear this because that's really big news and if true, is really going to hurt the cars sales.

I'll be making my 4th appearance on The Car Guys Report Informed Automotive in a couple weeks. We're recording a 2 parter tomorrow and it drops in a couple weeks. Tired of watching "Top Gun" on tv for the 20th time since all this sh!t, check out this podcast. I'm currently on 3, the one about the Dragon and Detailing and the 2 parter about the C8.

I would take it all with a grain of salt. I saw the memo from Michelle and it's nothing that we haven't done before ... I recall the same thing in 89-90 recession, in the wake of 9/11, recession of 2007-08, etc., we stopped all development/CAPEX spending for a while. As for no sales in Australia, I would put more money on that though, since Mary B. is focused on the U.S. and China, hence her pulling us out of Australia, N. Zealand, etc.

We recorded 2 podcasts this past Sunday. Its #57 & #58 and we talk about cars that define a decade. The host went back to the 30's and I tried to stay on point with 1 car from an engineering standpoint as well as 1 from the looks department. Marc, the host, threw alot more out there but it came out good, although I was recorded from home on the phone

These will drop in back2back weeks, look for the 1st one in about 4 weeks, it's just the way he does it.

Just listened to the latest episode of the Car Guys Report featuring you.

Great episode about modern muscle cars.

I always find it interesting to note how the host highlights his Australian audience.

Thanks for listening!

The host used to be on terrestrial radio, so I'm sure that's a thing but also is very appreciative. While I'm here I should say part 2 is dropping Tuesday. The episodes go in the can for about 6 weeks or so, just the way he does it and I did another 2 parter about a month ago, so probably next year for those.

What do you think about his stance on 4 doors and V6 engines? Also, do you find his co-host much of a "car guy"? Have you watched his YouTube channel before? If so, put in Mazda Rx-7 and you'll see one of my best friends car there! I'm pretty sure I polished that spring, so it's looking awesome! Since that video he's added some 5 spoke Austrailan rims and added white rocker stripes. Btw those rims were powder coated white to match the stripes

No problem at all with fast, muscle car 6 cylinder 4 doors.

Australian's have a slightly different take on what makes a Muscle Car. When Australia made cars, in addition to V8's, there were several fast 6's over the years. In true muscle car tradition, they were based on cars with humble origins meaning they were affordable for the average guy or girl.

GM-Holden made Commodores with a Nissan RB30 turbo engine in the late 80's. These cars are highly sought after these days, most were thrashed and modified to death.

In 1992, Ford released the Falcon XR6, a warmed over 4.0 inline six that was faster than the equivalent V8 Falcon.

Ford continued to hone the XR6 package, adding a turbo variant in 2002 with the BA Falcon XR6 and later FPV F6 models.

The final evolution of that turbo engine arrived in the 2016 XR6 Sprint to send of the Falcon and Australian Ford's with a bang.

GM-Holden and Chrysler also made fast 6's in the early 70's, although these were two-doors.

I am aware of the My Car Story with Lou although I have not watched much of his content. I will have to search out that RX-7 review though.
