Hey,
I have to choose one wax from the following list. What would you choose?

SONAX EASY SHINE

SONAX WASH&WAX

SPRAY AND SEAL SONAX XTREME

SONAX Paintwork Gloss

NANO PRO SONAX

SUPER LIQUID WAX SONAX

HIGH SPEED WAX SONAX

BRILLIANTWAX SONAX

BRILLIANTWAX SONAX 250ML

Those are all great products.

The determining factor that will guide you as to which to use is,

What is the current condition of the paint you're working on?

Answer that and I'll do my best to help you pick a product.

:)

looks like a sonax employee to me..all 3 of posts are sonax related.......lol

Why only Sonax? There are SO many good waxes that picking "the best" is impractical.

Nah.... I check out the e-mail and IP address for all new members. Been running this style of forum as long and usually longer than most people I know. I'm pretty good out weeding out spammers and shills.

I looked at their other thread, they look legit. Probably as simple as a fan of SONAX products and also products that are easily available in their geographical area.

I don't believe all the products shown above are available in the U.S. so my assumption is this forum member is overseas.

We've had one new member, joined in the last 24 hours. I investigated them and figured they were here to spam us. Figured I'd give them a chance and to no surprise - yep they spammed us.

I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop and then I'll get out the Banning Hammer. :nomore:

Why only Sonax?

See what I wrote above.

One thing for sure, nothing wrong with being a fan and even a loyal fan to a brand. I know people that will ONLY drink Coke. No Pepsi, no anything else. Just Coke.

I've met a lot of people in my life that take a shining to a particular brand, (pun intended), and God bless them. If you find a product and/or a brand that simply never lets you down - go with it.

I wasn’t implying there’s something wrong. I was merely pointing out there are SO many options out there.

for me i like duragloss products if you need advice from them you can talk to jerry instead of a girl who never waxed a car

If one were to pick a brand to be loyal to, SONAX isn't a bad one at all.

I have only tried a handful of their offerings, but each one was exactly as advertised.

I bought something from a local store and it arrived damaged, so they had to issue a refund.
Unfortunately they sell only Sonax products.

I have the option to purchase a Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer, what is the benefit of using it?
I'm going to polish my car by hand.
I’ll use Meguiars Polishing Compound, then I’ll apply Sonax Polymer Net Shield.

And what do you guys think about Kwazar Venus Foam Neutral 2L?
Is there a difference between Venus Foam Netural and Venus Foam Super?
Will a Sonax foam sprayer be a better choice?

Thank you!

Since you will already be polishing the paint and applying Polymer Net Shield (PNS), I'd go with Brilliant Shine Detailer (BSD). BSD uses the same technology as PNS and if I remember correctly, it was created to be a maintenance product for PNS. The benefit of using it, is that since it is a "quick detail" spray, so it does have some light cleaning abilities. But the real benefit of using BSD in my experience, is the protection it leaves behind. The water behavior is very impressive and quite durable for a quick detail spray; more like a spray sealant, imho. The drawback (If you want to call it that), is that BSD doesn't leave a very slick surface like other products do, but that is a trade-off I'm willing to make based on the protection it leaves behind.

For optimal user experience, use BSD in a sprayer that can atomize the product better such as this one:
EZ Mist Sprayer - Black

Here is a video from our fellow forum member Loach, of Brilliant Shine Detailer in action:

Sounds like a reputable business.

Brilliant Shine is a spray detailer and a very good one at that. It's basically for removing,

  1. Light dust
  2. Fingerprints
  3. Smudges

If you use it heavy or wet - you can use it as a waterless wash.

I would thing about this product. It's a one-step cleaner/sealant. You could use it as a "polish" after the Meguiar's Ultimate Compound and the call it a day. Or top with the SONAX PNS. You could also use it as a standalone product. That is wash, clay use this product and call it a day.

NANO PRO SONAX

Thank you!

I would have to revisit all of the above to have anything meaningful to say.

:)

The thing about the best wax is that there are about a million of them.

Thank you all for your help.

I would like to buy an interior cleaner.
Will it be ok to use cif all purpose cleaner?

Currently I'm using Chemical Guys Total Interior Cleaner. It’s ok, nothing more.
