what's the last car care/detailing video you've just watched?

74 views in 6 hours youtube is telling me. Probably bots.

Does anyone remember Yvan started DIY with a palm sander? And don't forget you need a "short throw" for the $40 bottle of bullshit promotor for the average and super marked up hydro "lite". But wait it gets ever better! We have a PRO version for you suckers!! Just give us some money and consider yourself LUCKY!

Autogeek still gets views - we have to call out these people while we still can.

Wow guys look at the price on this. Man it must be special..this is getting in the silly kamikaze and polish angel prices. I've tried a few polish angel products but i never looked at them again. Great company if you want to waste a lot of money.

And i'm not sure who wrote the Ad copy i think it was called but PH Neutral products do very little cleaning. Your running water and mitt/towel does all the lifting.

The cult is already on this one. The brand receives the regular "GOATED!" mentions. They're definitely trying more paid promotion stuff because lately everything is getting random "this product is " posts and videos. The circle-jerk is growing.

Interesting to see Carzilla also grabbing hold of the THOR brands as quickly as THOR does.

Speaking of palm sanders this popped up on my feed this morning. I assumed, wrongly, that this guy was going to do a light polish with a palm sanders and then apply Ceramic Gloss for protection. I have no problem with that. I think it’s a simple way to gloss up a car for a beginner. When I did my first coating on my own car I used the Ryobi cordless 6 inch buffer to polish. I didn’t remove a single scratch but it was glossy.

I did not expect the guy to apply Ceramic Gloss with a palm sander. Seems like a monumental waste of time for something that can be applied by hand in five to ten minutes.

I noticed on sheepstar's YT channel, in the "The House of THOR" video this very cryptic comment has been added. The attachments are gone.

That happened within a few days of him posting the video.

I believe Sheepstar said in the video he consulted with an attorney before he wrote/posted the video to make sure he wouldn't get sued. Which I'm sure wouldn't have been easy anyway, since he's in Canada.

My original predicted winner DID win the competition, well, when looked at it through this lens, makes much MUCH more sense

Why would one guy run 2 identical company's

For a long time people were begging THOR to get distribution outside the US. Carzilla had the know-how and it gave them quick access to brands they probably wouldn't otherwise get access to, seems like a no-brainer to me.

"I don't care where you buy from - I own them both!"

I'm only guessing but it makes business sense.

Same thing in Australia, THOR partnered with an existing company, but its ran as a separate entity rather than being a sold via the existing website.

Cosmic Spritz is a whopping $183USD for 500ml!!! Seriously? You think its worth that? Must be nice to spend money on empty promises.

I would bet you 5000 dollars you can't tell the difference from something like Sonax Ultra Slick detailer than Cosmic Spritz. Even the beads if thats your thing will be very similar.

Beads leave PITA waterspots on my car so i don't even care for beads anymore.

THOR Canada could sue. As we see in present times, the threat to sue is a common tactic.

That product is very nice thus far! Into week three now since first and only application and no wash since its still going strong, as far as i can tell from the water behaivor. Its remeinisant of a fresh coating behavior.

It was a bit grabby when i first applied it, but second wipe off was slick. Think it was due to the wash with pure rinseless v3, cant say for sure. Ive used it since to clean the glass off and clear bird bombs as well, with no grabby feeling issues. Slickest stuff ive used yet. ZERO streaking issues on black as well.

Thanks for the introduction to the feynlab detailer.
