Im still new to art of detailing and been working on it as a hobby for few months now. When I bought my GG I received some free pads with it. I also bought some cobra pads as well. Needless to say I stayed with cobra pads because quality felt better than the pads that came with my DA. Ive been reading a lot about how LC hydro are great and don't soak up product as much as cobras. It also seems there are only 3 pads you can get with LC Cyan (blue), Tangerine, and Crimson (red). How well off are these pads compare to cobras?

I've used all of them. I would prefer the cobras over all of them. But it's important to use what your most comfortable with.

That's interesting. I put the Cobra pads equal to the LC CCS.
Not a fan of any waffle, grooved, or convoluted styled pads.
To me LC flat and LC HT are superior in performance.

I have tried several. I too like LC flat and especially LC HT (5.5" on PC or GG). The CCS seem to soak up so much product, the black CCS is so darn soft and absorbent, I used way to much sealant for a small car using one.
