I've been looking at the werner platforms from HD as its what everyone recomends for roofs of vans, suvs, etc.
They retail for anywhere between $45-$60 either online or thr big box stores.
Most everyone here has bought them on sale for $15-$25 dollars during a big holiday sale so I have waited for one to come and get 2 rather than 1 at the same price.

So the request is if anyone sees it on sale (labor day???), can you please give us a heads up or possibly post a link.
I'm sure a few other than me would appreciate it.
Thanks!

I'd like to know as well. Ordered mine online last Black Friday and it went through. Got an email the next day saying they were out of stock, needless to say I was angry.

I keep track of a lot of online sales daily, if I see it I will post it here and also in the "incredibly cheap finds" thread.

Im not sure if ag would like this but what about starting an "on sale now" thread?

Post a link to anything we may need or use the moment you see it.

Well I don't know what the rules say about that but I think that as long as its not directly competing with AG it should be acceptable.

For the last 2 years, around Thanksgiving and/or Christmas time the Werner platform dropped down to $19 at Lowes.

For the last three years Lowes has had these on their " Black Friday " sale.

Is Lowe's still selling it? I don't see it online, but it could be that my store no longer stocks this item in Hawaii. Home Depot does have stock for me.

Speaking of sales, I just bought the Lowes Greenworks 1500psi 1.3gpm pressure washer for $75 as advertised on their website.
I found a few good reviews on it here and looks like it works fine with the MTM foam cannon. Now if I could only find a good deal on the MTM cannon.

The Werner stool is 20" tall, & I'm 6'; it wasn't tall enough for me to reach the center of the roof of our van comfortably. Those of you considering buying one may want to take it out to your vehicle to see if it fits your needs before buying it.

There's already a thread titled "incredibly cheap finds"

I know. But almost every post is what people have already found or do find at places like the dollar store and something that has already been purchased on sale.

I'm looking to start a thread for something that is online, or local, on sale at the very moment of posting it and people will know when someone posted something new to check it out right away.

MY Lowes stopped carrying it, but as others have said Black Friday is usually when it goes on sale for $19.99

those things suck.
Get a 3 step, step ladder.
The platform is only one level and no place to put your stuff. Bulky and hard to store, the legs fall out from the closed position and hit things.
Big Lots sells a great 3 step for around $20.

Home Depot has one called the Gorilla platform... I believe it retails for $22 bucks.. It's equal to the Werner!

its in nov only black friday you can call lows and put on lay a way and pick up any time you like for 20.00 each.I get 2 new ones each year.sell old ones for 20.00

That's sounds awesome but I can't find it online. Maybe post a link?

I looked at like 4 different stores for that one and never could find it. I don't think they stock it all the time
