What's the latest 'trend' in ONR washing?

+1. Grid guards take up about 1 gallon themselves. I'm reaching the top of the grid guard when I use 3 gallons Just tried it then. Car came up trumps. This could become part of my regime on the weeks I don't have time to spray wax

CarPro Trix and new Iron-X Scent

Are you talking about Tarmalade or there Supernatural Glue and Tar Remover? I like DJ products but was disappointed with Tarmalade. The Glue Remover is much better

There was cherry in the old version. Must have been masked by the smell of rotten eggs

    The best window cleaning product

I like DJ Clearly Menthol but can't be used on tinted windows. So Meguiars is my main go to window cleaner. A lot cheaper too

    Carpet cleaner..

Not tried CG Fabric Clean but had good results with their Lighting fast upholestey carpet and stain remover. Have used it in an extractor 20:1 and as a spot remover 3:1 I was more then impressed with it. At 3:1 I was able to remove what appeared as red ink stains that APC wouldn't budge...

Chemical etching on interior plastic. How to remove?

Was giving the car an external detail for a show on the weekend and spent some more time cleaning up the stains. It was suggested trying mixing the Dodo Juice LPL and CM together. I instead mixed it with a more abrasive polish. It looks so much better. The only bit that really remains are the...

    Wheels off! Questions.

I do two wheels at a time. Front and rears. Always on a level surface and chock the wheels on the ground. And never never ever think it's ok just to just a jack. Always use stands too. Tips: If it's your own car you don't have to do all 4 wheels at once. Loosen the nuts before jacking it up...

    Chemical Guys Dilution?

Can't agree more. The chemist that creates the products doesn't use capfuls so I don't know why they put in on the label. If they do they should at least state how many mls or ozs the cap is. Painful thing about using a cap for measuring as alot of product sticks and may end up over diluting...

    Chemical Guys Dilution?

I don't care for capfuls. I always want to find out the dilution, mls or oz required. The caps would only be 5ml. I use wash and gloss at 1000:1. So that's 3 capfuls to every 4 gallons. A lot of people use it at 512:1 but too many suds for my liking

Reviewed: Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss

I just tested it at 15ml (1/2oz) in 15L (4 gallons). Still worked extremely well. Find if used 1oz I got way too many suds. While it was great slickness on the paint, it was difficult to rinse before getting more soap. My rinse bucket quickly came inundated with suds which I personally don't like.

    Microfiber Towels.

How much vinegar? 1oz? How much APC? I use to use a liquid laundry detergent but recent switched to Chemical Guys MicroFiber Rejuvenator. However, will be interested in using it with a pre-soak and a vinegar rinse I usually just air dry my towels but people regularly comment come up fluffier...

Reviewed: Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss

It suds more then any shampoo I have ever used but need to rinse well during wash as use higher dilutions. Its certainly a great shampoo What's really confusing is the conflicting information of what ratio to use. The conflicting information comes from there very own websites To Wash: CG USA...

    Longest lasting spray wax?

I have bought some OCW but yet to use it. XMT 360 and OCW are the two spray waxes that are forever popping up in all the spray wax threads. As mentioned durability can become a mute point as people generally use it in place of quick detailers. I mostly use my QD as a drying aid so like to have...

Chemical etching on interior plastic. How to remove?

I honestly searched autogeek before asking, no wonder I had no idea what it was. Damn I hate acronyms at times. Probably not the best product to abbreviate but if I did it would be T3000. I don't believe in abbreviating numbers but 3k is the proper abbreviation for 3000. Thanks for the...
